Course Objectives :

The course  aims to give practising or potential team leaders the foundation for their formal development in this role.  The qualification does this by developing a wide range of team leading skills and assisting participants in gaining the comprehensive knowledge required by a team leader. 

 

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, but participants will:

 

·         normally be either practising or aspiring team leaders with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands, and;

 

·         have a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme – which is likely to be Level 1 Key Skills Literacy and Numeracy or their equivalent.

 

·         individuals  who are sponsored by their employers and those without such sponsorship are equally eligible.

Contents :

This accredited qualification  has a mixture of three compulsory modules  with a total  credit value of  4, as well as  optional modules, of which participants should select a total  units that  is equivalent to  9 credit value. You will find a table with details   of the mandatory  and optional modules below. The delivery mode of this qualification  is a blended learning which comprise face to face  workshops, webinars, online support and written assessments. Participant will be assessed on each module and must gain at least 50% on each module to be able to achieve the qualificaton. The course can be completed within six months but  participant has up to twelve months to complete their assessment.

As part of our leadership training programme, we make every effort to tweak our contents to fit  participants working environment and so we will require participant to complete a questionaire before the start of the course to enable the tutor to gain thorough understanding of the learner. This will be followed by a one to one meeting. Various personality and psycho-analysis assessment will be carried out as part of the mandatory units such as : Emotional Intelligence,  Myers Briggs, KOLB Learning Styles etc. This will enable participants to have a good understanding  of  themselves and their team as well as develop a personal action plan for their own other others development.
